PawsAbilities, Polk County Humane Society and Valor Service Dogs are set to make a big impact at Petfood Forum 2024. These three non-profit organizations will be joining the annual event, providing attendees and exhibitors with the opportunity to learn more about their important work and give back to the pet community.
Petfood Forum participants can interact with these organizations in various ways throughout the show on April 30-May 1.
PawsAbilities and the young adults who work for them will be set up near registration in Lobby 2300. Attendees can support their mission by purchasing their hand-crafted dog cookies while learning how they provide important skills training for people with disabilities in Kansas City.
The Polk County Humane Society will be joined by students in the companion animal science program at Missouri State University. Missouri State students in companion animal courses will be working with four puppies from the shelter before Petfood Forum to make them more adoptable. The students and the puppies will be on-site in the Dog House, a designated area in the exhibit hall where attendees can interact with the puppies, learn about their mission and discover how they can get involved.
Back for the fourth year, Valor Service Dogs will also be joining Polk County Humane Society in the Dog House. Attendees can meet the service dogs, learn about the heroes they serve and get involved.
This program is sponsored by ADM/PetDine
The visiting charities will make a special appearance in ADM Booth #1700. Valor Services Dogs are scheduled in the ADM booth on Tuesday, April 30 at 2:25-3 pm and Polk County Humane Society and Missouri State University will be there Wednesday, May 1 from 9:30-10 am. Stop by to say thanks and show your support.
